So I have two dogs. A Shih Tzu and a large bread mix puppy. The Shih Tzu is a terror on toys and I usually buy him super tough aggressive chewer chew toys. He has quickly destroyed firehose toys.I bought these as sort of a joke, but they have held up amazingly. Usually the toy is partially destroyed within hours. These are still almost intact after chewing and games of tug of war over a couple of weeks. That one tiny hole is the only battle scar. I honestly think it’s because of the shape as there are really no corners to focus chewing and nothing to pull at. I also think they find the crinkle sound soothing. I highly recommend these toys.
